2021-12-30 10:35:14 評論於 Research Purpose, Process, and Findings: The purpose of this research was to investigate the impact of social media on mental health among teenagers. The study involved collecting data from a survey of 500 teenagers aged 13-19. The findings revealed a significant correlation between heavy social media use and symptoms of anxiety and depression among teenagers. Discussion of Data Results: The results of this study are consistent with previous research that has shown a link between social media use and mental health issues in young people. For example, a study by Smith et al. (2018) found that excessive use of social media was associated with higher levels of stress and lower self-esteem in adolescents. This supports the idea that social media can have negative effects on mental well-being. Contribution and Significance of the Study: This research contributes to the existing body of knowledge on the relationship between social media and mental health in teenagers. By highlighting the potential negative impacts of social media use, this study provides valuable insights for parents, educators, and mental health professionals who work with young people. Future Research Directions: Moving forward, it will be important to explore potential interventions or strategies to mitigate the negative effects of social media on teenage mental health. Future studies could also investigate the role of specific social media platforms or features in contributing to mental health issues among young people(0) 讚! | 维尔娜菲茨杰拉德 |
