Atmospheric Measurement Techniques (AMT) is an international scientific journal dedicated to the publication and discussion of advances in remote sensing, in-situ and laboratory measurement techniques for the constituents and properties of the Earth’s atmosphere.

The main subject areas comprise the development, intercomparison and validation of measurement instruments and techniques of data processing and information retrieval for gases, aerosols, and clouds. The manuscript types considered for peer-reviewed publication are research articles, review articles, and commentaries.

I have previously written an article, which is my second SCI. The review process was too slow, and it went through two major revisions and one minor revision. It was accepted approximately five months later.

This journal pays more attention to innovation. Dur to the discussion, it took relatively long time for the whole submission (from submission) to official acceptance. If you pursue the speed, then be careful to submit.

Make sure that you review the aim and scope of this journal prior to submission. If your journal is sent out for review, it typically takes about 3 months and the reviews are always objective. This is a good journal overall – I recommend submitting articles.
