I am also grateful for the suggestions made by my reviewer, which greatly improved the quality of our paper. The revision letter was 70 pages long, with over 15,000 words, which is a testament to the hard work put in over the past ten days. Conscience magazine accepts submissions around the 10th of each month, and it takes three days for the editors to review them. After two days, the submissions are sent for approval, and feedback is given by the end of the month. If submitted in early February, it takes two weeks for the submission to be accepted. The whole process takes about a month from start to finish.

The manuscript was submitted on December 19, 2024 and received comments from the third reviewer on February 5, 2025. It was rejected. The third reviewer put in a lot of effort and wrote over 20 comments, and the comments were so well-organized that I thought it was AI-generated. What made me most angry was that I could have waited for the comments, but I received them on the first day back to school on February 5, which was very strange. I find it difficult to judge whether the comments were generated by AI today or if the reviewer worked very hard over the holidays to write over 20 comments. Even if the rejection comments were sent to me a few days later, I wouldn't have had a problem with it.

Due to the fact that JMCA is a Class A journal in our school, we decided to give it a try and submitted our manuscript. The submission process is as follows:
12.5 submitted
12.24 in peer review (probably due to Christmas, it was a bit slow)
1.16 major revision (there were changes in the middle, with two reviewers requesting revisions, but the issues were not difficult)
1.22 submitted revised manuscript (sent for external review on the same day)
2.4 accepted (accepted in just 60 days, thanks for the support from JMCA. This is my first article after starting work, and I hope to do better in the future!)
