After submitting the manuscript, it took 6 months to receive the reviewers' comments. There were 9 reviewers, and their comments were longer than the paper itself. After making revisions, it took another 6 months to receive the acceptance email, only to be asked to change the font color. The email said it was accepted, but the system showed it was resubmitted to the editorial department. The timeline for the next steps is still unknown. This journal really needs to improve in order to justify such a long review process and so many reviewers

It has been 17 months since I submitted my paper in December 2022, and it has finally been accepted. 
PS: The first review assigned me 10 reviewers and a total of more than 70 questions, which I replied to in 2 weeks. There are still 4 reviewers left to convince in the second review
