Overall, the review speed is very slow. Students in a hurry to graduate should not choose this journal (the homepage states that results will be available within 1 month of submission, but do not believe it). 2. If you need to rush the review or have questions for the editor, make sure to CC to the editorial office, editor-in-chief, and all email addresses you can find (from my experience: inquiring with the responsible editor only resulted in no response for the first 5 emails. It was not until I CC-ed everyone that a response was received). Pros: The editors are relatively easy to talk to. For things like revisions or extending deadlines, communication is easy (possibly related to the journal's decline). In summary: For students who are not in a hurry, this journal can be chosen. Disadvantages: 1) Generally speaking, the review speed is very slow. Students who are anxious to graduate should never choose this journal (the homepage said that you will get a reply within one month after submission, but don't believe it). 2) If you want to ask for progress of the manuscript or ask the editor any questions, you must copy to the editorial office, the editor-in-chief, and all the email address you can find (Here’s my experience: if you only asked the managing editor, just as I did for the first 5 emails, it would be completely ignored. I got a reply after copying it to everyone). Advantages: The editors are relatively easy to communicate with, such as when I required extra time to make revisions. (It might be related to the decline trend of the journal). To sum up: For some students who are not in a hurry, you can choose this journal. It is relatively easy to be accepted, but the review period is too long.
