The second review result came back and the editorial decision will be made in about 10 days. I just received the acceptance notification today. It took nearly three months from submission to acceptance (give or take a few days), submitted on January 10th and accepted on April 2nd. I didn't rush the process in between, but finally met the graduation requirements.

Can you guys tell me what this means? What format does this journal require for its images? Even though the technical review has been completed, the editor has sent it back with the following feedback: "We noticed that the editorial concerns were not addressed during the latest revision. Hence, we again request you to revisit the figures presented, check the axes labels and ensure that the table and figure captions are succinct yet comprehensive to improve readability and clarity."

Depending on the attitude of the reviewers, usually two are enough. However, if there is a tendency to reject, more reviewers may be invited.

I have been waiting for 2 months and still have not found a reviewer. I had to urge the editor multiple times before they finally re-invited a reviewer. I feel like the editors at SR are not as diligent. Why is it that when I submit a paper to Elsevier, the editors can easily find reviewers, but with SR, I am constantly struggling to find one.
