A very disappointing submission. The editors and reviewers were not professional. There were two reviewers, and it took three months to receive their feedback. The overall comments were positive, but each reviewer had 1-2 very unprofessional issues, such as not reading the article carefully or having a knowledge gap. From my understanding, only minor revisions were needed, at most major revisions. However, the editor decided to reject it. I have published dozens of articles and am a PI myself, but I encountered such a bizarre journal for the first time. I initially wanted to support domestic SCI journals, but I have decided to blacklist this journal in the future as it wasted my time.

The first full paper in life
Submitted in September 2021, results came out at the end of October, major revisions required.
Revised and resubmitted after one month, minor revisions completed by the end of December.
Received acceptance in mid-February, with even more additions than the first major revision.

The review speed was about one month, slightly longer compared to what I found online. It took about three months from submission to acceptance, with repeated reminders for revisions. Without reminders, it would probably take four months, and publication would require nearly half a year. This journal is getting better now and may improve further
