The tolerance of universities is simply unimaginable. Even the most rubbish, unoriginal, poorly written articles are accepted. Reviewers reject edits but still accept them. Suggestions are ignored and articles are published on the cover for everyone to appreciate

My senior classmate just reviewed a paper from a top 985 university in China, which is very strong in public health. It should be a practice work for students. According to the senior's comments, there are errors in the stitching, definitions, and descriptions. After some revisions, the paper has been greatly improved and has been accepted for publication

Went through five reviewers, their opinions contradicted each other and raised many useless small issues, the revision was very painful, conducted multiple experiments throughout, still could not meet the standards of their expert reviewers, hoping everyone's paper will reach the level of Nature before submitting to this journal again
