Submitted on April 15th, major revisions were given on July 10th. After the modifications, it was accepted on July 27th. Maybe it's because my research direction is more focused on catalysis, so it was difficult to find suitable reviewers. Therefore, it took some time. I made three attempts to find reviewers during the process, but they continuously refused to review. Overall, the difficulty level was low and the requirement for innovation was not high. After all, it's just for Open Access (OA).

The direction is organic chemistry methodology. The originality is average. The manuscript was submitted in early October 2019, and it was held in the editorial office at that time. It took about 20 days before it was sent to the editor, but the editing efficiency was very high. The reviewer was directly contacted on the same day to review the manuscript. After the manuscript was reviewed, the editor gave the results the next day, and one reviewer required to supplement some experiments; one was very professional, asked many questions, and directly rejected the manuscript because the innovation was not enough; the editor raised some questions, requested a major revision, and the editor in chief adopted his opinions. One month was spent to supplement the experiment, and it was returned in late December. The editor directly forwarded the results to the editor-in-chief without a break on Christmas Day. It was estimated that the editor-in-chief was out on vacation. The results were given on January 10 and it got accepted directly. It can be said that the editing efficiency is really high. The comments given are very practical and the acceptance solved the problem of my graduation. It took exactly 3 months from submission to acceptance, including one month in the editorial office, one month for my revision, and half a month in the hands of the editor in chief. The innovation was not high, but those who have mandatory requirements for publishing papers to graduate can have a try. In the revision process, you must pay attention to it and make careful revisions in response to the comments. Since the editor has given you an opportunity for major revision, it will be very likely to be accepted after you revise it according to the comments.
