I recently submitted a paper, it took one month to receive the review feedback, then it went to the associate editor, and then to the editor-in-chief. It stayed with the editor-in-chief for a month, and then they said it was rejected, not suitable for publication in this journal. They didn't even provide any reviewer comments.
