This TR Part A is super slow... I've already submitted in 2022... still under review... it's the first time I've encountered a journal with such low efficiency

Part A is getting worse and worse. Not only is the reviewing process slow, but the Associate Editor often shows bias against Chinese authors. Many Chinese articles are inexplicably rejected directly. Even adding a Hong Kong affiliation to avoid bias leads to swift rejection. I can only say that I will not submit to Part A again in the future

There is nothing to say about academic journals; people working in transportation all know about it. However, the speed of the review process is really slow; it took 9 months for the first review and got rejected. It's really dragging on and it's a bit unbearable!

A very good traffic and management science journal; The review speed is slow; it is a journal with Association of Business School (ABS) 3*, only publishes more than 200 articles a year, and is the top of TR series. You know!

This journal is very slow. I thought my paper was not good enough for the Part B journal, so I decided to try this Part A journal. I didn’t expect the editor take more than half a year for the first round of review. The paper is finally published only recently. This has been almost two years! I’m so upset with it because it delayed my graduation. I will certainly never submit to such a journal again. Elsevier should really consider changing the current Editor-in-Chief. The reviewers were not that great either; they didn’t understand my paper well and just pretended that they know things.
