Review Speed: 1.0 Experience Sharing: Submitted to BBRC and got rejected in 10 days, then submitted to TJEM. Submitted on March 20, asked a question via email on March 23, received feedback on April 1 with comments for revision from two reviewers. Supervisor said reviewer 1's comments were very professional. Revised and resubmitted on May 18, decision for temporary acceptance made on May 30 with reviewer's questions reduced from 18 to 5. Revised and resubmitted again on June 13, decision for acceptance made on June 16. Overall feeling is that the process was fast, thorough, and relatively meticulous. Found out on June 19 that the new IF is 1.35, considered an established journal with a low publication volume and minor IF fluctuations. Although the impact factor is not high, it is my first SCI paper. Still feel it is worth encouraging myself
