It’s very common in actual studies: I finished the experiment, confirmed the hypothesis, but still need to extend the research, so I need to continue exploring the data to see which direction will yield valuable conclusions. At this point, it’s like I’m testing all possible comparisons (even though I can’t actually exhaust all comparisons, but since there is no specific purpose, all comparisons are potential).
