The speed is really slow. It took two months for the first round of external review, and at that time, it felt fast. But after making revisions and sending it back to the editor, it took more than a month before it was sent for review. The external reviewers have already finished their review, but it has been in the hands of the editor for over a month now. Even after urging for the manuscript, there has been no change for a week. I will never submit to this journal again. It is not cost-effective and I do not recommend submitting to this journal if you are in a hurry. It is incredibly slow.
