The top conference journal in combustion science, on par with or even higher than CNF, is quite difficult, and of course, there is a circle/community as well. The new classification by the Chinese Academy of Sciences has finally placed it in the top tier. If applying for a young fund in the field of combustion, having a paper published in PCI would be much better. Friends who are involved in combustion can join combustion projects and share submissions for mutual learning.

This is different from CNF, where as long as the manuscript is not rejected, it may be finally accepted after the revision. But this journal will not accept it if it is not excellent enough. It is not recommended to submit if you are from an ordinary university.
