Plant Foods for Human Nutrition (previously Qualitas Plantarum) is an international journal that publishes reports of original research and critical reviews concerned with the improvement and evaluation of the nutritional quality of plant foods for humans, as they are influenced by:

The submission has been completed and it was accepted. I personally think the journal is okay. It has strict format requirements, requiring less than 16 double-spaced pages. They do not provide an endnote style for reference format, and the format generated by the small widget given by the journal was not completely consistent. Generally speaking, if there are no major problems with the format of your submission, it will soon be assigned reviewers after submission, with a review of one month. The comments of my article returned after a month, requiring a major revision. The time given for revision was relatively short as one month. I finally applied to delay one week. After the revision, he said that there was a problem with the format of the reference, and returned it to us. After submitting again, the editor sent it to review for one month. It got accepted after a month. It took three and a half months in total. I think it's pretty fast. If you have any questions, send an email to the editor, and the editor will reply very quickly. The attitude is very good. My article is a study of plant food intervention in animals, which is a mixture, but contains food ingredients.

The impact factor was 2.368 in 2016; the journal has strict requirements on the length of the submitted articles, double line spacing can't exceed 16 pages, and the reviewer's reply is also more professional. I feel that the journal is not bad.
