Submitted a manuscript, first modified the format, sent it to the editor, and then went through a long wait. After a month without any updates, it was still under editor assessment. After two reminders, the second reminder was directly rejected and asked to submit to a sister publication.

The submission was made on August 23rd, we received the revision comments on September 21st, returned the revised version on November 12th, and it was accepted on November 25th. The process was very fast, it's a good journal.

The article has been successfully accepted. It took a total of 3 months from submission to acceptance, with the review process taking one month. We needed to conduct additional experiments, so the revision period was extended. Otherwise, it would have been just 2 months. It is a great journal, but it does require three repeat experiments on the entire film, so this is something to keep in mind when submitting.

The submission was made on June 26th, and by July 17th, three reviewers had completed their reviews. The first review was completed on August 15th, with a three-week deadline given. All three reviewers provided fairly friendly feedback, totaling several dozen comments, but no suggestions for additional experiments. The revised version was submitted on September 1st, and the second review was completed on September 22nd with only one comment. The revised version was submitted on September 24th, and it was accepted on September 27th.
