The submission was made in early December 2024, and the minor revisions have now been submitted for review. Fortunately, the paper has been accepted as a TOP paper in Area 2 of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2025. Ha ha.

It should not happen, I also had a situation like yours. When I returned for repairs on January 2nd, there was only one person who reviewed it, the other one never answered. Yesterday, they directly accepted it.

Since the major revision, the original reviewer has been refusing to review the manuscript for the past month and a half. However, a few days ago, the status changed directly to RC without RRC. It is now in the DIP stage for about four to five days. Based on your experience, do you think it will be rejected? Can we still hope for this paper to graduate? (The major revision required adding a comparative experiment, but my study involves a method and application innovation that does not allow for a comparative experiment.
