That was the worst submission process in my life(10 years in academia). It took them 6 months to get 1 review and they rejected it with comments like "what is ns? put the abbreviation in bracket". Clearly, reviewers are MS or PhD students.

Their rules are: 
- no major revisions
- 2000 words max

So if an MS student wants you to add some data, it will be rejected because of the word count.
