Sharing experience: Very disappointing. Submitted in August last year, no response until February this year. Called the editor and was finally asked for revisions. Three reviewers were friendly and considered the paper innovative, but provided revision suggestions. Revised according to the suggestions in May this year, still no response. Called again and was told a new reviewer recommended rejection. Ultimately, the paper was rejected. Altogether wasted nine months, with no chance of resubmission.
