This journal is absolutely bizarre. I submitted my manuscript a month ago, sent reminder emails to the editor, and Editor Martin finally accepted it. But surprisingly, the executive editor rejected it. No wonder it went from being ranked as a Tier 2 journal to a Tier 3, it's all a mess.

It is an established and well-known journal, and the impact factor has also risen in the past two years. The editor-in-chief is very good. Two weeks after the manuscript was submitted, the review comments was received and it was accepted directly after a minor revision.

The thermal stress journal has a relatively high impact factor and has now been upgraded to Q3. The manuscript was directly accepted within two months of submission.

The journal is very general, but it is not easy to get accepted. In our personal experience, we had to submit three papers before one was accepted for publication. It takes about two months for the process.
