Extremely slow, RRC has been silent for a long time. After urging, they rejected it. Six reviewers... it's really disgusting. Three minor revisions, two major revisions, one rejection. They just rejected it. The journal is average. I won't submit to it again in the future, and I won't review for them either.

9.21: Revised and accepted on the same day. The editor is Kosmas Prassides, an expert in condensed matter physics from Tohoku University in Japan. The whole process took a little over a month, which is faster than many top journals. It was indeed a pleasant surprise!
