I wrote a review and within two weeks, I received around 50 comments from three reviewers. I'm not sure if it's just my perception, but maybe the review was well received. After making the revisions, it was accepted via email just three days later. I am grateful to the editor and reviewers! Thank you to the journal.

2022.02.09 Minor revision - Two issues in disagreement with the reviewer. One is about material yield, where the reviewer believes that one of the raw materials is excessive and should not be included in the yield calculation. The second is regarding infrared characterization, where the reviewer insists that the broad peak from 3600 to 3100 indicates the material is not dried, but there are still broad peaks in the results. I have decided to persuade the reviewer by citing references.
2022.02.17 Minor revision - Still facing disagreement on these two issues. The reviewer carefully recalculated the yield for me, but this time included the excessive raw material. The reviewer's wavering confuses me. Additionally, the reviewer finally compromised on the infrared issue.
2022.02.21 Minor revision - The editor claimed that I did not highlight the modifications, but I actually did. Unfortunately, I had to re-upload the document.

The entire submission process took six months, with four rounds of revisions. Fortunately, there was no urgency. Lastly, I would like to thank the journal.

The manuscript was submitted in the late March 2019. The reply of the first review was given in mid-May (major revision, 2 reviewers, and 12 comments). The revised manuscript was submitted in a week. The reply of the second review was given at the end of May (one of the original reviewers gave 8 new comments). The revised manuscript was submitted in three days, and it was accepted directly. The reviewers’ comments were very professional, and they had accurate grasp of the ideal of the article. So far, it has been more than 5 months, but the journal never makes it published in an issue. The unpublished first draft without page numbers can be seen on the journal’s official webpage. Are your articles typesetting and publishing cycle so long?

I’ve published two articles in the journal before, and it is quite fast for the review process. There will be first comments back within one month. The third article of mine was a bit more troublesome, but still got news within one month. When resubmitted after the major revisions, a minor revision was required. Then it was accepted after we returned the revisions. It totally lasted two and a half months.
