2023-07-27 14:14:15 評論於 Editing and processing the document was very fast. Submitted on May 10th. The editor on May 23rd said the format was incorrect because the journal follows a double-blind review process. At that time, I did not pay attention to this matter and made the necessary format changes and submitted it again on the same day. Sent for review on May 30th. Review comments were returned on June 14th, with nine reviewers and over 40 comments, and two weeks were given to address them. Fortunately, the reviewers overall recognized the work. Due to the number of issues, I requested an extension from the editor and submitted the revised comments on July 2nd. Received further revision comments on July 11th, with one reviewer being particularly meticulous. Then, on July 15th, the revised comments were submitted again. The editor didn't take any action during this time and it was under review again on the 23rd. The review was completed on the 24th and acceptance was confirmed on the 25th. Overall, the process was quite fast, within the normal two-month timeframe.(0) 讚! | Angelate |

2023-02-10 09:14:48 評論於 There have been no more similar articles submitted after this one. This journal focuses on manuscripts related to food methods and chemical compositions. Apart from a few first-tier journals, I feel that this journal is considered second-tier. The speed is fast, with the chief editor processing manuscripts around 5 am every night, making me check its status every time I wake up in the middle of the night. Interestingly, after the first revision, it was desk-rejected. Then, it was either waiting for acceptance or rejection, but on the third day, it directly changed to "with Editor." After searching for a while, I thought that the opinions of the two reviewers who requested revisions were opposite, with one rejecting and one accepting, so it might continue under review. However, after a few days, it was accepted, and I was very happy. I will continue to submit similar articles in the future. By the way, this journal follows a double-blind review process, which is fair. When submitting, authors need to separately upload a document.(0) 讚! | 科研小陈努力 |

Given 20 days, the paper was revised on the 13th before the New Year and accepted on February 75th. This journal focuses on the chemical composition of food. The article on non-targeted metabolomics has not been reviewed before. The editor said, "All of your identifications are tentative, and data are not quantitative. For papers to be considered by the Journal of Food Composition and Analysis, confirmation of identifications with reference compounds is essential, particularly for compounds that are discussed within the text.
