1. Submitted in September 2022, not reviewed for two months; after repeated inquiries, received initial review comments in March of the following year; 
2. Major revisions required uploading all original images and all materials; 
3. During the revisions, the journal suddenly sent multiple emails, repeatedly emphasizing that extension requests could be made; 
4. After receiving the revised manuscript, the journal continued to communicate actively, emphasizing the upload of original images and raw data; 
5. Suddenly rejected after half a month, reason for rejection was "failure to address issues not raised in the initial review"; 
6. From September of the previous year, all kinds of delays and procrastination continued until July of the following year......After the final rejection, the submission website showed that the major revision comments were sent by the journal on March 4, but the rejection was already issued on March 5. Before the rejection on July 1, there was normal communication with the editors, with no signs of rejection at all

Review Speed: 6.0 | Submission Hit Rate: 25.0 Emphasized research direction: Osteoarthritis bioinformatics research experience sharing: Submitted on April 30th, changed to "Under review" status in one or two days; stayed in "Pending Recommendation" status until July 26th, "Pending Decision" on August 22nd, and rejected on August 25th. Lasted for nearly four months, only received comments from one AE and one reviewer, both of which only required clarification of the content of the article, no additional data needed. However, the editor rejected it with the reason "not of sufficient novelty for JBMR," suggesting to resubmit to JBMR Plus. I advise friends who are eager to publish not to submit to this journal, it's a waste of time
