This led to a second round of revisions with three more reviewers added. Now there are four people reviewing the manuscript, and we don't know what to do. The submission was made at the end of April, and the first review took less than a month. There were two reviewers, and we had to add a lot of animal experiments. After minor revisions in the second review, the paper was accepted, taking a total of about 5 months from start to finish! The overall editorial efficiency is very high, and the journal has high requirements for the systematicity and completeness of the articles, especially the verification of the mechanisms of animal experiments. The innovative reviewers also provided some useful suggestions. IJP is a very good journal in the field of pharmacology, but it is strange that its impact factor has always been low, compared to similar journals in the field of biomaterials. I hope it can improve.

I am really sad. Two reviewers provided feedback on my manuscript. One gave moderate comments and suggested revisions, while pointing out a single word error in the manuscript. The other reviewer gave very positive feedback. The Japanese editor rejected the submission. The submission was argued on the Elsevier system. The Japanese editor replied that the word error in the manuscript could lead to misunderstandings and therefore cannot be accepted. It's too difficult. Submitting is too difficult.
