We waited for more than two months, almost three months, from submission to the first decision. One reviewer gave very superficial comments and suggested revisions. Later, we wrote to the editor, but received no reply and didn't know where to start revising. Seeing that things were not going well, we wrote to another assistant asking to withdraw the submission.
