① The review speed of the journal is relatively fast, usually one round in 1-1.5 months; Pending Recommendation and Pending Decision are particularly quick, 1-2 days, without delaying time;
② It is not necessary to use overleaf or LaTex for the submission template, double-column Word is sufficient;
③ Focus on the completeness of the experiment, writing norms, figure and table titles and content. Reviewers are friendly and professional, positive feedback can be received by making changes according to their suggestions;
④ Recommended as the first article or for graduation

Submitted at the end of May 23, it took about 3 days for the first review to start, and I waited until the end of February 24 for minor revisions to be provided. The opinions of the first three reviewers were basically non-existent (one even directly copied my abstract), while the fourth reviewer provided 10 suggestions. Because the review process was quite long, I sent an email to the editor during this period. The editor of this journal replied promptly and updated me on the progress of the review. Most of the time was spent waiting for the reviewers. I hope the second review will yield results sooner

I submitted once before, and two days later it was rejected by the associate editor. After major revisions, I submitted again. On 2/29 afternoon, it was directly Pending Editor Assignment. On 3/1 morning, it was directly under review. However, I actually want to try for an MDPI Q2 journal. I just tried it yesterday afternoon, and unexpectedly it was sent for review after a few hours. Anyway, let's leave it here for now. I heard online that the UR process can take quite a while. If the MDPI Q2 is rejected again, then I'll continue to follow up on this one.
