Hello, I would like to ask how long it usually takes for the first instance trial to be completed. It has been two months and I am still in the first instance trial.

1. In the first revision, there were a total of four reviewers. One of them had a very bad attitude and provided very few comments, likely leading to direct rejection. The other three each raised 10 questions.

2. In the second revision, there were three reviewers left. The first one had no issues (likely agreeing), the second had a few simple questions (likely agreeing or minor revisions), and the third had more questions (likely major revisions or rejection).

3. The paper was accepted directly after the revision meeting.

In summary: as long as the Associate Editor gives you a chance for revision, there is still an opportunity. Adjust your attitude, face the issues directly, do not resist organizational review, and make serious revisions for a good outcome.
