The submission was under review on the day of submission, and then it took over four months. Finally, the editor-in-chief sent an email saying that they couldn't find a reviewer during these four months, and the paper was rejected. I am truly grateful.

I have never seen a journal this slow before. Submitted in February 2024, it has been undergoing review since the first day of submission and has not changed status until the end of September. The key issue is that it was submitted as a Special Issue.
