Submitted to Front Biosci (Landmark Ed) on March 13, 2024, revised on May 20 and several times afterwards, with an additional reviewer added, only to be rejected on August 26, 2024. It took a full 5 months, with continuous revisions, wasting so much energy, feeling deceived. I don't know what this journal is really up to, thinking it's a top-tier publication. Needed to get that off my chest.
