How can the review process be completed with only one reviewer? Isn't it usually 2-3 reviewers? And the system already shows DIP, without RRC, I feel like it's going to be rejected. Has anyone else encountered this situation?

It was pretty fast, submitted for review within 5 days, minor revisions after a month and a half, 20 days for revisions, and accepted upon return.

The efficiency is very high, basically rejected in three to four days after submission. It took ten submissions to be sent for review once. I feel that Food Control is still a relatively difficult journal to get into.

"Track is to track your submission, in the tracking email there is a WeChat link, where you can see more details, including how many reviewers the editor has assigned to your submission. Usually, inviting 2-3 reviewers is enough. Once they have completed their reviews, the editor will summarize their feedback and ask you to make revisions. After revising, you can submit it back for further review, and this process repeats until it is accepted."
