Epigenetics publishes peer-reviewed original research and review articles that provide an unprecedented forum where epigenetic mechanisms and their role in diverse biological processes can be revealed, shared, and discussed.

Epigenetics research studies heritable changes in gene expression caused by mechanisms others than the modification of the DNA sequence. Epigenetics therefore plays critical roles in a variety of biological systems, diseases, and disciplines. Topics of interest include (but are not limited to):

Hello. Thank you very much for your reply. Because my supervisor's email cannot register with this publishing group, I submitted using my own email, but the correspondence is still filled by my supervisor. My supervisor and I are not in the same place, and communication is not very convenient. It has been a month now and it still shows "out for review". Review speed: 6.0 | Submission acceptance rate: 50.0 Weighted research direction: epigenetic experiences shared: The article has finally been accepted, taking almost ten months, with the first review taking half a year, two reminders in between, minor revisions for a month, and acceptance in over 20 days. The additive effect refers to the effect of using two drugs together being equal to the effect of using double the dose of each drug alone. If the therapeutic effect obtained when two drugs are used together is greater than the sum of the effectiveness of the two single drugs, it is called a synergistic effect.
How to judge whether two drugs have a synergistic effect or an additive effect? Because there are many factors that can affect the effectiveness of animal experiments or clinical treatment, unless the result obtained significantly increases the sum of the effectiveness of each drug, it can be clearly stated that a synergistic effect has been obtained, otherwise it is generally referred to as an additive effect
