The first review speed of this journal is too slow. If you are not in a hurry or the article is hard to be published, you can have a try. I have an article in my hand for several years, unexpectedly, it was accepted after being submitted to this journal. The requirements for research innovation are average.

2016 December to submit a review paper to the journal journal of food sciences.The review comments were submitted in July 2017, and after three days of revision, they were sent to the editorial department, and the internal review evaluated the change as true.After several rounds of external audit, after mid-November 2017, the status has been Co-editor.I tried several times in the middle of the road and did not give a reply. Now it is already in January 2018. I don’t know when to pay the payment and accept.I hope you master to give guidance

To be honest, my manuscript was not highly innovative, and it was rejected by several other journals. It entered the review process for this journal, and post-revision it was accepted. In general, the innovation of this journal is not very high and it is relatively easy to have your publication accepted. Moreover, the impact factor is low and this is a journal for non-English speaking countries. If you want to contribute to this journal, you should consider submitting a manuscript.

. One of my experimental articles was submitted in early February this year and accepted in early July. The main time is to wait for the review comments, due to the comments of the reviewers.Mainly in the text, so accept it immediately after the revision.But to be published in line, the editorial notice will not be published until next year.
