We also encourage the submission of manuscripts presenting preclinical and very preliminary research that may stimulate further investigation of potentially relevant findings, as well as in-depth review articles on specific therapies or disease states, and applied health delivery or pharmacoeconomics.

CTR encourages and supports the submission of manuscripts describing:

• Interventions designed to understand or improve human health, disease treatment or disease prevention;

• Studies that focus on problems that are uncommon in resource-rich countries;

• Research that is "under-published" because of limited access to monetary resources such as English language support and Open Access fees (CTR offers deeply discounted English language editing);

• Republication of articles previously published in non-English journals (eg, evidence-based guidelines) which could be useful if translated into English;

• Preclinical and clinical product development studies that are not pursued for further investigation based upon early phase results.

I translated a previous master's thesis (which was relatively superficial) and submitted it with a trial attitude. After being rejected by JIMR, I inadvertently submitted it to this journal. I wasn't in a hurry, so I waited for about four months for revisions, and then waited for almost two months before it was accepted! The requirements are not as high as those of Chinese journals, regarding both the content and language. If the article is relatively simple and you have plenty of time, I recommend giving it a try for SCI beginners who can receive page fees from their institutions! (0) 讚！ \| Valentine Frances

The page charge is high, but I applied for a waiver and it was quickly approved. So I didn't spend a penny. Submitting to initial revision takes about 3 months, during which the possibility of acceptance can be determined based on initial revision comments. Submitting again for final acceptance takes 2 months. If accepted, it can be published in about 2 months. Applying for a waiver may delay publication by about 8 months. Depending on your situation, you can choose whether to pay the fee (0) 讚！ \| 凌霄高洁
