Having two reviewers for this journal is absolutely enough. My senior fellow often gets assigned to this, and having two reviewers is a common scenario. Actually, having more reviewers is not a problem, it's just that the process is too slow, oh my god.

In the first round, there were two reviewers, but in the second round, one of them disappeared and a new reviewer was brought in. Generally, if the opinions of the two reviewers are relatively consistent, the editor will not bring in a third reviewer. However, I cannot say for sure if this is the case, because my senior brother had previously submitted to this journal and in each round a new reviewer was added. In the end, the reviewer numbers went up to #7, and he had to go through three rounds of revisions even after graduating.

RRC should only be a fixed indicator, which will automatically change to RRC after two reviewers give their opinions, and to RC after all reviewers give their opinions. A decision will be made within three to four days after RC.

Yes, resubmitting after rejection in this journal is equivalent to revising according to the rejection comments and being given a new chance for review. The reviewers for the resubmitted article will all be new.
