Review speed: 2.0 | Submission hit rate: 50.0 Focus of research: Neurointervention Experience sharing: Let me also share my process with everyone. I am a graduate student. I submitted my paper on April 3rd. The status remained as "with editor" for about two weeks. It was sent for external review around May 10th, and it showed "decision in progress" on May 21st. A major revision was requested, with a two-week deadline. I submitted the revised manuscript on June 4th, and it was under review for a week before the status changed to "decision in progress," which lasted until July 2nd. Another major revision was requested on July 2nd, with a 15-day deadline. I resubmitted on July 14th, and it changed to "decision in progress" after about two weeks. A minor revision was requested on August 18th, with a 15-day deadline. I submitted in the morning of August 26th and it was accepted in the afternoon. Here are the opinions of the reviewers. 

第一次大修: There were a total of three reviewers. The first reviewer praised the writing style but had issues with the design, suggesting rejection. The second reviewer recommended publication, and we simply thanked them for their affirmation. The third reviewer raised some questions about definitions, diagnostic criteria, and other related literature. We addressed the issues one by one, and it went smoothly. When I saw the reviewer comments, even my advisor thought the first reviewer might not have understood. When I responded to the first reviewer's comments, I chose to confront them and provided more references. My advisor suggested toning it down and being more diplomatic. 

第二次大修: The second reviewer had no concerns. The third reviewer also had no major problems, just suggesting we provide more detail on certain definitions and literature in the discussion section. The key issue was still from the first reviewer, who recommended rejection again and even quoted our responses to him in a disdainful manner. My advisor was upset and wanted to counter aggressively. We found more supporting articles from higher impact journals, wrote extensively, and submitted with determination. 

第三次小修: This time, the first reviewer's issues did not appear in the reviewer comments. The response indicated "editor and reviewer comments," and the comments were identical to those from the third reviewer in the second major revision. We expanded on our previous additions and submitted in the morning, only to be accepted in the afternoon.

总结: It is a relatively standard journal with competent editors. They don't just pass on messages for revisions but also make their own judgments when reviewing revised manuscripts
