Feels like a nice journal, the review process is fast, and the number of articles published each year is relatively low, and in the end, you can choose between OA and non-OA. For genetic studies, I prefer some large sample sequencing, new genes or loci, and research on new phenotypes. The only downside is that the impact factor hasn't grown much recently, while other journals have grown a lot in the past two years

Submission process: Before submitting, I sent an inquiry letter to the journal editor, who mentioned they do not accept mini reviews and have a word limit of 7500 words for reviews. I only calculated the word count of the main text (less than 2000 words) and later added some content (still within the word limit) unintentionally submitting it for review. The first review took about 3 weeks to receive feedback, which was positive. After making slight modifications, it only took a week to return for revisions. However, there was a delay of two to three days due to not providing a cover image. The second review took nearly 2 weeks and resulted in direct acceptance.

Submission advice: 1. Submit a review paper - the editor stated, "We aim at publishing extremely comprehensive review papers." 2. Once accepted, making system modifications can be challenging (I added an image myself through email communication). 3. The editor was friendly, but seemed less active on weekends with quick responses during weekdays. 4. Non-OA does not require fees, but printing color images may incur additional costs (optional

Review Speed: 1.0 Experience Sharing: The review process was relatively fast. I submitted my article on November 16th and received the first round of feedback on December 12th from two reviewers. The revisions required were minor, and I resubmitted my revised article just in time for the Christmas holiday. I received an acceptance letter on December 30th. The requirements seemed high, as I had previously submitted an article a year ago and it was rejected immediately. However, this time, with a more comprehensive study, everything went smoothly
