Submitted in early June, the manuscript was quickly reviewed and the review fee was paid. 

By the end of August, I contacted the customer service of Elsevier and learned that one reviewer had already provided feedback, while another reviewer had accepted the invitation but had not yet provided feedback. 

In early September, the manuscript was rejected, with feedback from one reviewer being somewhat positive and helpful. It seems that after three months, the decision was made based on the feedback from only one reviewer. 

After revising the manuscript based on this feedback, it was submitted to another top-tier journal and was accepted for publication. 

Initially, the goal was to submit the manuscript quickly for review and then submit it to another journal in a different tier. However, despite the lengthy review process, the positive feedback encouraged me to submit to journals of the same caliber or even better. Special thanks to this reviewer.
