To the best of my knowledge, the editorial department has always been working towards improving the speed of the review process. Occasionally, a longer review time for a submission could be due to fewer reviewers accepting invitations.
If you haven't heard back about your submission in a month and a half, it is recommended to contact the editor directly by phone.
Generally, they will provide an explanation and it should not affect the review outcome

The editors of the journal are all very nice. However, the quality of the reviewers is uneven. One of the reviewers understood the paper and provided some substantial suggestions for revision, while the other reviewer didn't even comprehend the paper and gave meaningless comments, leading to rejection. I am not satisfied with this. If only he could provide high-level comments like TIM to reject the paper, I would accept it wholeheartedly.

Domestic journals are friendly to Chinese people. They seem to be more favorable. Many people around me have been accepted for publication. The submitted papers have been accepted. The first review took less than 2 months, the second review took 20 days, and after revisions, the acceptance was confirmed 20 days later.
