Physica D (Nonlinear Phenomena) publishes research and review articles reporting on experimental and theoretical works, techniques and ideas that advance the understanding of nonlinear phenomena. Topics encompass wave motion in physical, chemical and biological systems; physical or biological phenomena governed by nonlinear field equations, including hydrodynamics and turbulence; pattern formation and cooperative phenomena; instability, bifurcations, chaos, and space-time disorder; integrable/Hamiltonian systems; asymptotic analysis and, more generally, mathematical methods for nonlinear systems.

However, there are also a few pure mathematicians who join in for fun. For those interested in mathematics, it would be better to try their luck at journals like DUKE Advance.

In the field of nonlinear studies, this magazine has a good reputation, and many of the papers published in it are highly innovative, especially some of the review papers are of very high quality.

The journal publishes important results and phenomena in the fields of mathematical physics and nonlinearity. It is highly innovative. The reviewers are all top international scientists. It is a well-known authoritative journal in the linear field, and has a slightly higher influence than Physica Review E of the American Physical Society. It is a pretty good journal.

submitted twice in advance, did not submit the review directly rejected.This submission has been 11 months, and it is still in the review, but it is finally submitted for review. I feel that this journal has high requirements for theoretical innovation.From the perspective of mathematical physics research, PHYSICA D feels one level lower than comm math phys, but not under Phys Rew.

This journal is a super difficult journal in the non-linear field, because the editors and reviewers are basically VIPs in the field;  If your articles is innovative and the writing is good you will be OK; I admire this journal; they don’t seem to care that much about IFs and focus on very high quality content.

This journal mainly publishes new phenomena, new methods and new methods in the field of mechanical physics in the field of nonlinear physics.Most of the editors and reviewers are cattle in the non-linear field, and domestic scholars publish very little, with less than 10 articles per year.The non-linear International No. 1 team, University of Maryland, J.
